The New Organisation of TKK in the Halli System
Halli will be migrated to the new organisation during a maintenance break between 15th and 16th of January 2008. Halli uses the old organisation structure until January 14th. Beginning from the 17th of January 2008 Halli will use the new organisation.
During the first two weeks of the year 2008, there are some things to notice regarding Halli:
Recorded Hours
The old organisation structure is used until January 14th. Therefore, the working hours for the year 2007 have to be entered and worktime announcements accepted by January 14th. The new organisation will be available in Halli on January 17th.
The unit data that has been attached to the working hours entered for the year 2008 before the migration, will be converted to use the new organisation. The recorded data of the working hours of the year 2007 will not be converted.
Employee Data
Personec F (data system that holds the information about TKK’s employees) has been migrated. Because Halli will be migrated on the 15th of January, there will be a delay of two weeks in updating Halli’s employee data.
Halli does not show the changes made to the employees’ supervisor or unit data any sooner than after the migration on January 17th.
New employees of TKK who will start working on January, will be added to Halli on January 17th. They can’t login to Halli before that date.
If changes to supervisor data are needed to handle the worktime announcements of the year 2007, address your requests to TKK Administrators by e-mail: halli at tkk fi. The changes made to the Personec F will be updated to Halli on the 17th of January automatically without any specific request.
Project Data
The organisational units of the projects in Halli will be converted to the corresponding units in the new organisation during the maintenance break.
The new projects that start on January will be added by the TKK Administrators starting from the 17th of January. It’s not possible to record working hours to new projects before that.
Unit-specific Administrators
Beginning from the 17th of January, each unit will have unit-specific administrators that handle all the projects in the unit. Between the 1st of January and the 14th of January, the project data in Halli is updated by the same unit-specific administrators than in the year 2007.
The heads of the units will be asked to reappoint unit-specific administrators in the beginning of January.
